Emeritus colleague Steve Burnett has been invited to deliver a plenary address at the Bonn Humboldt Award Winners’ Forum, Bonn, Germany, 14-17 October 2026. The conference theme is “Global Perspectives on Reformation(s) and Peasant War(s): Social Movements and Religious Renewals over Five Hundred Years,” and Steve’s lecture will be called “War of Words: How Luther Branded the Peasants in His Pamphlets During the Peasant War (1524-26).” Congratulations, Steve!
