The field of Classics encompasses a wide range of courses in the civilizations of ancient Greece and Rome—their languages, literature, history, and material culture. The field of Religious Studies will acquaint students with the world's religious traditions, great and small, their histories, sacred writings, and how they are practiced and lived in the world today.
